MACS stated in their March 2009 Service Report that A/C technicians that are trained in testing and replacing components in the refrigeration system often have difficulty troubleshooting electrical circuits. These days, there are so many switches, sensors, monitors and the A/C Clutch that aren't wired in straightforward circuits, but only to black box modules in data busses, the problems are even tougher to diagnose. Most A/C technicians report that 95% of the problems they fix are in the refrigeration system. Using new electrical diagnostic tools that are available on the market today can help technicians save time and keep the business within their own shop.
